Harrogate Ladies' College

The original Harrogate Ladies’ College senior school continues to be a girls school, currently with about 320 girls from ages 11 to 18. In addition, it incorporates a prep school, Highfield School (see below), which takes boys and girls, and Bankfield Pre-School, which provides for boys and girls of nursery age. Highfield takes boys and girls between ages 4 and 11. Situated in a fine, well-refurbished, characteristic Harrogate building it enjoys the facilities of Harrogate Ladies’ College to which it is attached. It is a day school with some 230 pupils.

Stowe School

Stowe is predominantly a boarding school, now with about 730 pupils. A decision was made in 2004 to admit girls from the age of 13 in addition to the girls already admitted to the Sixth Form. There are currently 230 girls in the school and it is intended that about one third of pupils will be girls. There are some 330 pupils in the Sixth Form. The school stands in a magnificent rural setting near Buckingham with the landscape gardens in the care of the National Trust.

Westonbirt School

Westonbirt senior school is a girls boarding school admitting pupils from age 11. There are about 248 girls in the main school, of whom 164 are boarders and some 80 are in the sixth form. In addition the prep and pre-prep school, Rose Hill Westonbirt (see below) with about 200 boys and girls, shares the beautiful grounds and facilities of the senior school.
